Norm and I will be leaving soon for a month of sunshine, colors, Spanish, new ideas and warm!!!!  I am taking a pile of natural dyed fabrics, embroidery threads, watercolors and pencils - maybe I will get some work done and maybe not.  Don’t care.  Am leaving unfinished large pieces on the sewing machine to have ready when I come back.

WARM IN THE STUDIO - I have spent the last four days being warm and colorful in the studio - am working on a piece reflecting my experiences in Israel last month - it has a longs ways to go yet and with all the snow beginning this afternoon I will stay in and keep working.

I have four pieces at the  Common Cup, 1501 Morse Av  Chicago,  with the International Art Adventures show.  It goes thru January 2010.  Hope you can stop by for a cup of coffee and view the show.

I have two new small pieces Hula I and Hula II at the Vespine Gallery, 1807 S Halsted, Chicago  through Jan 29, 2010.  The reception is Friday January 8, 2010 from 7-10 pm.  Hope you can make it.

Since January 11, 2009,  I have six large pieces hanging in the front hallway of the Wilmette Park District (Glenview Road left off Skokie Blvd, Wilmette).  I hope that many of you are able to visit those hanging as well as works by other artists from the Wilmette Art Guild. This show will remain up until March 29, 2009.  Thanks for stopping in.
